Welcome to Harris Sixth Form, part of the Harris Federation, supporting over 6,000 students each year to achieve the very best academic outcomes and sustained destinations across Higher Education, Apprenticeships and employment.
We are committed to providing a world class quality of education for all students, regardless of background, underpinned by a personal development programme that supports our students to achieve long term success both professionally and personally. The quality of the provision at Harris Sixth Forms is recognised by Ofsted, with over 80% of our Sixth Forms rated as ‘Outstanding’ and all achieving at least ‘Good’.
Our learners are all expected to subscribe to our high standards and expectations and in turn our staff are committed to supporting them to achieve the very best outcomes. To this end, any potential barrier to success is removed through learning support, academic enrichment, personal development and financial assistance.

Sixth Form Aims
As a Sixth Form group, we aim to open more doors than any other provider for all our students, through empowering them to achieve their best.
To achieve the very best outcomes, Sixth Formers across all Harris sites are expected to meet our high expectation of academic and personal professionalism in all encounters. This includes subscribing to the following aims:
- To hold the highest personal and professional standards, including in appearance, attendance and punctuality, communication and approach to learning.
- A maintenance of high academic standards and the desire to achieve the very best outcomes
- A commitment to the development of literacy and numeracy regardless of a student's chosen programme of study
- To make an active contribution to their Sixth Form community through student leadership and enrichment
- To make an investment in their careers education so they prepare to achieve and sustain the best destinations
- A commitment to academic enrichment and support, including attendance to masterclasses and revision sessions outside of the timetabled day
- To understand the importance of Personal Development in support of academic achievement and sustained destinations
- To access all opportunities available, most importantly those that make a direct contribution to academic and personal development.
